Courtcovers offers the following durable and innovative cover systems in its product line. All products are extensively tested and inspected for long-term use, with a recommended usage period of 24–48 hours.

HOW IT WORKS

Purchasing the Courtcover One, Courtcover Two, or Courtcover Three system is a simple way to increase court availability. Whether used only at night or also during the day, the cover can be quickly and easily installed for maximum protection. Similarly, cover risers can be used to adjust the height based on expected precipitation. When water or other precipitation falls on the cover, the raised edges of the system ensure that the precipitation typically flows toward the center of the cover. This creates a sort of large-volume basin on the tennis court. Afterward, the water can usually be easily pumped out using a submersible pump (e.g., 5,000 liters per hour or more) to a suitable drain or storage tank for sustainable reuse.


A number of anchor points are created in the ground along the court; these are easy to use and do not interfere with tennis play. Special cover pins allow for uninterrupted play when the Courtcover One system is not in use.

The Courtcover Two system even offers the option of a permanent mounting tube around the court to which the cover can be attached using tension straps. No other mounting points are required for this system.

CLAY COURTS

When the cover needs to be secured, the cover pins can easily be removed from the ground tubes recessed into the clay court, and the fastening pins inserted into them. The cover is stretched slightly taut using elastic bands on the sides, which are attached to plastic-coated steel cables with special tensioners positioned between the attachment points. Depending on the expected rainfall, cover risers can be installed. This entire process should take no more than 15–30 minutes and can be performed by a single adult.


ADVERTISING

The Courtcovers systems allow advertising banners to be easily attached to the Velcro mounting points. This makes it possible, for example, to generate additional advertising revenue that can be used to help purchase or rent the cover system. The ROI—or payback period—can be achieved in as little as one day through sponsorship revenue from a training day, tournament, or event.

Practical Questions:

1/ How does water drain once it’s laid out on the tarp? - Via the tarp’s slope or using a floor-level pump that pumps out the rainwater.
